8 Healthy Desserts
Are you thinking that you ate to much food during Holidays? I am guilty of that… I ate to much. So many delicious dishes and desserts that I could not even stop eating. I feel like I gained extra pounds .. it is time to do something about it. I decided to remind you and myself that I have many healthy recipes on the blog. This 8 healthy desserts are so good and fulfilling.
Did you make any resolutions for this year? I did… and I promised to myself that I have to achieve them. First of all, I need to lose some weight. I am not sure what happened but I don’t eat on schedule lately. Many years ago my breakfast was the first thing in the morning. Right now it’s closer to lunch time. It’s time to change this. I wrote my full schedule what time I will be eating and what I will be eating. It will help me to stay on the track and record everything. In the future I will definitely share with you my diet plan.
1. Healthy Greek Yogurt & Fruit Dessert
One of my most popular dessert in 2014 was Healthy Greek Yogurt & Fruit Dessert. This “fruit pizza” is made with greek yogurt and truwhip (healthy alternative of cool whip). It has crunchy pie crust made with graham crumbs. To make this “fruit pizza” even healthier you can make an oat flour crust from this recipe of Healthy Pomegranate Yogurt Pie.
2. Healthy Cocoa Honey Oat Muffins
These Healthy Cocoa Honey Oat Muffins are VERY healthy. Made with oats, banana, apple and flax seeds. They were popular on my blog as well.
3. Oat Flour Almond Plum Cookies
Oat flour Almond Plum Cookies are my favorite. It was my first attempt to make something gluten free and these cookies were success. Moist, sweet without refined sugar with almonds and dried plums.
4. Healthy Blueberry Banana Greek Yogurt
This sweet Healthy Blueberry Banana Greek Yogurt dessert is so easy to make. Just greek yogurt and blueberries. It is very satisfying, so it is perfect for lunch as well!
5. Maple Sunflower Seeds Granola
I am not really sure how you feel about granola… However for me granola can be for breakfast but mainly I eat it for dessert. This Maple Sunflower Seeds Granola has plenty sunflower seeds. It is sweetened with maple syrup. So good!
6. Homemade Granola
I hope that I did not bore you with my “oats” recipes. I know lots of oat recipes on my blog. But I love them! This Homemade Granola is made with honey, dried cranberries and coconut flakes. YUM!
7. Coconut Greek Yogurt with Frozen Grapes and Almonds
This Coconut Greek Yogurt is made with almonds and frozen grapes. So sweet dessert.
8. Chocolate Frozen Yogurt Covered Blueberries
Sometimes when I feel that I need something sweet I reach for these Chocolate Frozen Yogurt Covered Blueberries. They are very simple to make. Just dip blueberries in yogurt and freeze it. That’s It:)
