Summer is here and I have limited time blogging. My boys are home and we are spending lots of time together. So either they will be in front of TV and play station all day –> Me blogging. Or I won’t blog as much and we spend lots of time on bike rides, park and swimming. I want to have as much time with them as I can.
It’s difficult to manage everything at once + home errands, grocery shopping and many more things to do. I’m a little behind on blogging, but this is life and I love to be with my children for the summer. In the meantime, I’m leaving you with this…
Healthy + Naturally Sweetened Avocado Chocolate Mousse. Easy to make with only 5 ingredients and VERY delicious. Try it and you’ll see how good it is.
This avocado chocolate mousse has a pudding consistency which I love. Topped with sweet cherries that are in season right now. It’s perfect for dessert or mid afternoon craving. I get them a lot … the mid afternoon “dessert cravings”. Instead of a big bark of chocolate whip up this sweet mousse. Sometimes I need anything with chocolate and then I’m satisfied. I love coffee desserts too and this Lightened Up Tiramisu Dessert is perfect for mid afternoon cravings.
Avocado Chocolate Mousse with Cherries
- 1 avocado
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1 Tbsp. honey*
- 3/4 cup cherries
Blend avocado, almond milk, cocoa powder and honey in blender to reach nice consistency.
Remove pits from cherries and cut in half.
In a glass put some mousse, then cherries, mousse and cherries on top.
It can be sweeten more if desired.
