How to make Zucchini Fries
- Firstly gather all ingredients: zucchini, eggs, milk, panko breadcrumbs, salt and all-pupose flour.
- Cut zucchini into sticks and dredge in flour, then dip in beaten egg and milk mixture and last into seasoned panko breadcrumbs.
- Place on baking sheet with parchment paper. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 400 F.
How to make Air Fryer Zucchini Fries
To make zucchini fries in Air Fryer, simply put fries side by side in the Air Fryer basket. Spray with cooking oil. Don’t zucchini sticks fries on each other. Set Air Fryer at 350 F and bake for 10 minutes until brownish and crispy. You would have to do it in batches if you have small Air Fryer. I personally use Gourmia Air Fryer.
How to make Garlic Dipping Sauce
- Gather all ingredients for garlic dipping sauce: plain greek yogurt, salt, chopped green onion and minced garlic clove.
- To make garlic dip combine in a medium bowl greek yogurt, salt, green onion and garlic clove. You might want to adjust salt according to your taste.
Tips to make Zucchini Sticks
- It is ok to omit the flour in this recipe. However, I’ve noticed that dipping in flour first helps to coat fries nicely in beaten egg and panko breadcrumbs.
- It is recommended to use some milk in beaten eggs. It helps to smooth the mixture evenly.
- You have two options of baking these fries, in the oven or in Air Fyer. I use Gourmia Air Fryer and I recommend it. The basket is small, but I cook it in batches. It does fry my food nicely.

Ingredients
Zucchini Fries
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. milk
- 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 zucchini quartered, lengthwise
Garlic Dip
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. green onion chopped
- 2 garlic cloves minced
Instructions
Baked Zucchini Fries
- Prepare baking sheet with parchment paper, coat with nonstick spray and set the oven to 400 F.
- In a medium bowl beat eggs with milk using fork. Set aside.
- In a another bowl combine panko breadcrumbs and salt. Set aside.
- In different bowl put flour.
- Dredge zucchini fries first into flour shaking the excess, dip in eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Bake zucchini fries for about 20 minutes until they are crunchy and brownish.
Air Fryer Zucchini Fries
- Set the Air Fryer on 350 F and time for 10 minutes until crispy. Place fries side by side in Air Fryer basket and spray with cooking oil. You might need to do it in batches if your basket is small. Try not to stack fries on each other.
Garlic Dip
- In a medium bowl combine greek yogurt, salt, green onion and minced garlic, mix well.
