Do overnight oats have to be refrigerated? Yes, they need to be refrigerated since we don’t want oats + milk to be kept for several hours on the countertop.

Is 4 hours long enough for overnight oats? Yes, it should be enough, but for best results I suggest storing them overnight, more than 4 hours.

Can I use quick oats? Yes, you can! You don’t have to keep them overnight in the fridge, few hours should be enough for quick oats to absorb liquid.
