Fall Platter Tips

  • You don’t need to pick up the same type of cheese that I have. I know some cheeses might be harder to find in different regions. Anyway, buy any cheese that you prefer.
  • To make the fall platter just pick all seasonal fruits or nuts. You would like to make an Autumn theme board. For instance, I placed walnuts on my cheese platter because they are harvested from early September to early November. I also picked plums that are not available all year long. This type of plums are European and you can find them mainly in European stores. However, regular plums can be used.
  • Honey is optional for fruits. But it adds extra sweetness.

A cheese platter, also known as a cheese board or charcuterie board, is a delightful assortment of cheeses, fruits, nuts, and accompaniments designed to create a balanced and visually appealing spread. Here’s what you can put on a cheese platter: Fruits, nuts, any kind of soft/hard cheese, crackers, dips etc.

Offer a variety of cheeses to cater to different tastes and textures. A typical selection might include: hard or semi-hard cheese (Cheddar, Smoked Gouda, Mozzarella, Gruyere), soft cheese (Brie, Camembert)

You can slice, cut into fourths or half, cut into wedges, dice into cubes.
