Ricotta Pancake FAQ’s

What’s the best way to cook pancakes?

Heat your griddle or frying pan, spray with a little oil or brush with oil, pour about 1/4 to 1/3 cup of the batter, cook until bubbly, then flip. Once it’s flipped you can cover the pan to cook faster.

Do you cook pancakes on high or low heat?

When cooking pancakes, it’s generally recommended to use medium heat. Cooking them on high heat can result in uneven cooking, burning, or a crispy exterior while leaving the interior undercooked. Cooking on low heat can cause the pancakes to take longer to cook and may result in a less desirable texture.

What are ricotta pancakes?

Ricotta pancakes are a type of pancake made with ricotta cheese as one of the main ingredients. Ricotta cheese is a creamy and slightly grainy cheese that’s often used in Italian cuisine, especially in dishes like lasagna and cannoli. When incorporated into pancake batter, ricotta cheese adds a unique texture and flavor, resulting in pancakes that are moist, fluffy, and tender.
