Mild Avocado Dip made with only 3 ingredients by ilonaspassion.com

I bought a bag of avocados the other day in the store. I had couple recipes in my mind… so let’s start with this avocado dip. It’s made with only three simple ingredients –> if you don’t count salt and pepper. It’s easy, quick and can be served with chips or rice cakes.

I always add my jalapeno pepper to my avocado dip, but at this time I didn’t have it. The outcome of the dip was so good. It came out totally mild. Some people prefer that way. So it’s perfect for a party when some guests can’t or don’t like eating spicy food.

This dip came out as of surprise to satisfy my afternoon craving. Anything Mexican with lots of cilantro is perfect for me. At first I thought that I’ll make my favorite Beans Salad with Cilantro Dressing, but on the second thought I had to do something with avocados that were sitting on the counter for couple days now.

The dip is very simple and so easy to make, it doesn’t require any extra effort. Just mash avocados with fork, add other ingredients and mix well. Yummy … mild… dip is made!

This sounds like how my husband makes his guacamole- it’s delicious!! Yours is prettier (he uses salsa instead of tomatoes), but either way is just so tasty!

I love guacamole – but I’m a spice fiend — so I think I might toss in some jalapeños or hot sauce, too!

I’m with you Ilona! I walk into a store, the avocados are perfect, so I take some home. You’ve used 3 of my favorite ingredients here, I live in the Rio Grande Valley of south Texas – not far from Mexico. Great recipe and post!
