Sunflower Seeds Pomegranate Salad

Delicious and crunchy pomegranate salad with sugar snap peas, lettuce and sunflower seeds. This pomegranate salad is drizzled with homemade dressing.

How to make Pomegranate Salad

  1. (Full recipe and video below). Prepare all ingredients: chopped lettuce, sugar snaps, pomegranate arils, sunflower seeds, mustard, oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt and black pepper (optional).
  2. In a medium bowl combine lettuce, sugar snaps, pomegranate arils and sunflower seeds.
  3. Make dressing in a jar: add mustard, oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt and black pepper (optional), mix it, drizzle the salad.

Pomegranate Salad Tips

  • You can chop sugar snap peas to smaller pieces or leave them whole in the salad, either way is fine.
  • You can use any type of mustard: yellow, dijon, French or any other flavor.
  • Add all ingredients of the dressing to the jar, close tightly and shake it or just mix all ingredients with a spoon in a small bowl.

Sunflower Seeds Salad Faq’s

What goes well with pomegranate? Pomegranate arils goes well with most fruits and veggies, you can add it to all your salads.

Can I omit homemade dressing? Absolutely! You don’t have to prepare honey mustard dressing, just add your favorite store-bought dressing that you have in your fridge.

What sunflower seeds to choose? You can add raw, roasted, unsalted or salted, any type will be great addition to this salad. Keep in mind to omit or put less salt in the dressing if you add salted sunflower seeds.

  • 2 cups lettuce chopped
  • 3/4 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 3/4 cup sugar snap peas
  • 3 Tbsp. sunflower seeds
  • 3 Tbsp. mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Instructions

  • In the medium bowl mix lettuce, pomegranate seeds, sugar snap peas and sunflower seeds, set aside.
  • In a small bowl or jar add mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey and salt, mix it.
  • Drizzle salad with dressing and gently toss it.

  1. I think the reason I DON’T have pomegranate much is because it’s hard to get at. But maybe for this salad..it would be worth it

    1. Yes! You are totally right, I spend about 15 minutes to get all the seeds from 1 pomegranate. It is time-consuming.
