I’ve been using Ninja Kithen products for a long time. I use it mainly for smoothies. However, I also use it to blend broccoli soup or creamy butternut squash soup. It is probably the most useful equipment in my kitchen and I use it daily. I’ve received a new Ninja Ninja Nutri Bowl Duo with Auto-iQ Boost and I am very happy so far. It came with Nutri Cup and Nutri Bowl. It means that now I can make snacks, meals and smoothies with it. Nutri Cup is basically for smoothies while Nutri Bowl is used to make cookies, snacks and even dough for bread sticks. Also, it came with a book with lots of recipes that I am planning to make.

The blender has an option to Boost Yes Extract so my smoothie came out very smooth. However, I used frozen berries so it is better to choose Boost Yes Extract. This triple berry smoothie is healthy, refreshing and delicious. I used three types of berries: raspberries, blueberries and strawberries. To sweeten my smoothie I used 1 banana. Instead of coconut water I used coconut milk and it was so good.

Can you put Frozen Berries in a Smoothie?

Yes! The mixed berry smoothie will be more thicker and colder. To freeze berries use plastic bag or glass container. However, you would like to wash them before freezing. Rinse thoroughly with water, let them dry a little and freeze. Use them whenever you are making smoothie.

    1. No, you don’t have to use only coconut milk, other milk is good too: cow’s, oat, rice, almond, soy or any other milk is perfect for this recipe.

    1. The app that calculates nutrition calculated the fat content using canned coconut milk, but I changed it to coconut milk beverage so the fat content is lower, however if you use coconut milk in a can the fat content might be much higher.

  1. If I bought a bag of already frozen mixed fruit how much would you think I would need of that? 11/2 cup fruit and 1cup milk maybe?
