Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup half & half cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions

Chocolate Sauce

  • Melt butter in saucepan. Add semi-sweet chocolate, dark chocolate, cream, milk, vanilla extract and cinnamon. 
    1 Tbsp. unsalted butter, 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1 cup dark chocolate chips, 1/2 cup half & half cream, 1/2 cup milk, 1 tsp. vanilla extract, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • Cook all ingredients on a low heat mixing often until all chocolate will melt. About 5 - 10 minutes.
  • Serve immediately with dippers.

Fondue Dippers

  • Strawberries, pineapple, banana, orange, pretzels, ladyfingers, marshmallows, little waffle cookies, angel food cake etc.

Notes

Note: Nutrition is calculated for the chocolate sauce only.
  • Unsalted Butter – the best is to use not salty butter.
  • Milk – to make it creamy. Plant based milk can be substituted.
  • The combination of semi-sweet and dark chocolate taste the best.
  • Cook homemade chocolate sauce on low heat, mix it often.
  • Warm up before serving.
  • If the sauce is too thick for your liking, add few tablespoons of milk.
