Remoulade Sauce

Tangy, creamy, and slightly spicy remoulade sauce with pickles, horseradish and hot sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 pickle chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley fresh, chopped
  • 1/2 Tbsp. capers chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp. mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. horseradish prepared
  • 1/4 tsp. sweet paprika
  • 1/8 tsp. hot sauce or more

Instructions

  • In a large bowl Combine together mayonnaise, pickle, parsley, capers, mustard, horseradish, sweet paprika and hot sauce.
    1 cup mayonnaise, 1 pickle, 1 Tbsp. parsley, 1/2 Tbsp. capers, 1 1/2 tsp. mustard, 1/2 tsp. horseradish, 1/4 tsp. sweet paprika, 1/8 tsp. hot sauce

Notes

  • Firstly, you can add 1/8 teaspoon of hot sauce. After that, try the sauce, you might want to spice it up. I used Frank's RedHot Sauce which is my favorite.
  • You can use dried parsley instead of fresh parsley or omit if you don't have it.
  • Also, you can add any type of mustard that you have in your refrigerator. Raid the refrigerator and find any type of mustard you have available. Whether it’s classic yellow mustard, Dijon mustard, or even a grainy whole-grain mustard, any variety will work beautifully in this dip.
  • What to serve it with? One flavorful choice is to serve it alongside some crispy Deep Fried Pickles. The combination of the zesty dip and the crunchy exterior of the pickles creates a delightful contrast of textures and flavors. Serve it with Baked Carrot Fries or scrumptious Baked Potato Fries
