Ingredients

  • 1 lb. carrots
  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter melted
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder

Instructions

  • Peel carrots, then cut in half, then cut in half lengthwise. Thicker carrots will cook longer, so make sure they are thin enough otherwise cook thicker carrots longer.
    1 lb. carrots
  • Prepare marinade by combining melted butter, honey, salt and onion powder.
2 Tbsp. unsalted butter, 1 Tbsp. honey, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. onion powder
  • In a large bowl combine carrots with half of the marinade (reserve the rest).
  • Air Fryer Option: Place carrots in the Air Fryer basket, set temperature for 360 F and cook for 15 minutes, depends how crunchy you would like your carrots, you might add extra time of cooking if it's necessary.
  • Oven Option: Preheat oven to 400 F, prepare baking sheet with parchment paper, spread carrots on the baking sheet, bake for 15 – 20 minutes, add extra time of baking if necessary.
  • After cooking drizzle with remaining honey glazed marinate.

Notes

  • You can bake these honey glazed carrots even if you don't have an Air Fryer, just follow the recipe exactly.
  • If you cut your carrots thicker they might need a longer time to cook, so increase the time of cooking to make them softer.
  • Remember to add half of the honey glaze to your veggies before cooking/baking, after cooking drizzle with rest of the sauce.
  • Are you looking for an Air Fryer? This is the one I recommend that I use a lot Secura Air Fryer, it is big and I don't have to cook my food in batches, perfect for families. Also, I have Gourmia Air Fryer that I like but it is much smaller, if you have more food you would have to cook in batches, perfect for 1 -2 people.
