  • 2 basa fish fillets
  • 4 tsp. unsalted butter
  • 1/2 Tbsp. sweet paprika
  • 1/2 Tbsp. dried basil
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. lemon juice
  • 4 lemon slices

  • Prepare baking sheet with parchment paper. Put basa fish on the baking sheet.
  • Melt butter in the small glass bowl. Add sweet paprika, dried basil, salt and lemon juice.
  • Spread the marinate on both sides of fish using cooking brush or spoon. Marinate for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Bake for 30 minutes uncovered.

  • Marinate the fish for about 20 minutes. I used silicone cooking brush to spread marinate nicely.
  • Also, I used my favorite freeze dried basil for the marinate, but you can use fresh if you have it, this will enhance the flavor.
  • It is the best to put fish on parchment paper to prevent it from sticking to the pan.
