  • 1/2 lb Gouda smoked cheese
  • 1/2 lb Gouda spiced cheese
  • 2 cups Walnuts in shell
  • 1 cup Peanuts in shell
  • 1 cup Cashews
  • 1 cup Pretzels
  • 1 cup Black olives
  • 10 Plums
  • 2 Apples cut into slices
  • 2 Pears cut into slices
  • 1 Tbsp. Honey optional

  • Put nicely all ingredients on the large platter, board or tray including cheeses, walnuts, peanuts, cashews, pretzels, olives, plums, apples and pears. Spread some honey all over fruits (optional).

* Any two types of cheeses can be used. **This is approximate recipe, add more ingredients or less according to your needs.
  • You don’t need to pick up the same type of cheese that I have. I know some cheeses might be harder to find in different regions. Anyway, buy any cheese that you prefer.
  • To make the fall platter just pick all seasonal fruits or nuts. You would like to make an Autumn theme board. For instance, I placed walnuts on my cheese platter because they are harvested from early September to early November. I also picked plums that are not available all year long. This type of plums are European and you can find them mainly in European stores. However, regular plums can be used.
  • Honey is optional for fruits. But it adds extra sweetness.
