Banana ice cream made with healthy ingredients including almond milk and maple syrup.
If ten years ago you would ask me that we can make ice cream from basically banana I wouldn’t probably believe it. I will say what? Now I know that banana ice cream are so delicious and 100% healthy. This is most important.
Many recipes can be found for banana ice cream. Or we can just move our imagination and invent our own flavor. These ice cream are so tasty and very chocolaty. Sweeten with only maple syrup. I can say they are vegan and made without any dairy. My children are constantly asking if I will make them soon.
The ice cream machine is not required for this recipe. So easy and nu churn required. I don’t have an ice cream machine yet. That’s why most of the ice cream recipes on the blog are “No Churn.” Maybe someday I’ll get that machine and I will make more ice cream at home.
I used only 4 ingredients for my chocolaty banana ice cream. So convenient and obviously easy recipe. Now we can have ice cream without any excess sugar or calories. Totally healthy and yummy ice cream that you can have all summer long! I’ll definitely make them again soon.
Almond Milk Chocolate Banana Ice Cream
- 3 bananas
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 Tbsp. cacao powder
- 2 - 3 Tbsp. maple syrup
- Cut bananas into pieces and freeze for 1/2 an hour.
- Remove from freezer and put bananas into blender together with almond milk, cacao powder and maple syrup. Blend all ingredients together well.
- Pour into the container and freeze for at least 5 - 6 hours.
