Meal Type: dessert, party sweets.
Ingredients Needed

- Pineapple (canned or fresh) – juicy, sweet, and slightly tangy. It pairs perfectly with chocolate and gives a refreshing bite.
- Semi-Sweet chocolate chips – used for dipping the pineapple slices. Semi-sweet chocolate balances the natural tartness of pineapple without being overly sweet.
- Walnuts – they add a crunchy texture and a nutty flavor that complements both the chocolate and pineapple. They also make the treat more filling.
- Coconut Flakes – provide a tropical touch that enhances the pineapple flavor. They also add texture and a lightly sweet finish.
- White Chocolate Chips – used as an additional topping for extra sweetness and a decorative contrast against the dark chocolate.

- Make sure to pat the pineapple slices dry with a paper towel before dipping. Removing excess moisture helps the chocolate stick better and prevents slipping.
- For a healthier twist, choose nutritious toppings such as hemp hearts, chopped nuts, or unsweetened coconut flakes. Using good quality dark chocolate is another great way to boost antioxidants and reduce added sugar.
- If your melted chocolate feels too thick, add a few drops of coconut oil to thin it out and make coating easier.
- Once dipped, place the pineapple slices on parchment paper and immediately add the toppings so they adhere properly. To speed up the hardening process, you can refrigerate the slices for about 15 minutes before serving.
