Homemade Strawberry Kefir + Jar Labels
Better than a store-bought strawberry kefir recipe made with sweet strawberries and buttermilk. Sweet and tangy strawberry kefir + Free Printable labels.
This homemade strawberry kefir is so easy to make with only 3 ingredients. You can use only 2 ingredients if your strawberries are so sweet or if you prefer healthier version of homemade strawberry kefir. My strawberries were so juicy and sweet and I decided not to use sugar.
I am trying to limit sugar lately and recently I tried xylitol and I was amazed. It tastes great! I use it in my morning coffee and also I used in my baked No Yeast Cinnamon Rolls instead of regular sugar. I can tell you it tastes like sugar. I don’t notice any difference.
I was always a dairy person.. I really like any kind of kefir, yogurt or cheese. I remember when I was a little girl I was so happy when I had my kefir with me. Now I have a new addiction which is greek yogurt. I even freeze it to make sweet and healthy ice cream.
Most of all I love about this homemade strawberry kefir is that requires only few ingredients: strawberries, buttermilk and a little bit of xylitol or sugar.
To accompany this beautiful and healthy strawberry kefir I made this cute pink/gold jar labels and they can be downloaded for free in the end of the post; right after the recipe. Also, I made a beautiful cupcake pink/gold cupcake wrapper to match these labels and they can be purchased as instant download in my Shop.
Have you tried kefir before? What do you think?
