Banana Coconut Oatmeal
Healthy and satisfying oatmeal with banana and coconut.
One of the best breakfast that I ever had. Delicate oatmeal sweetened with coconut and honey. Just Heaven!
I used quick oats for this recipe so it was extra fast to prepare this breakfast. I added banana that I always have at home. It’s one of my favorite fruit. I also thought that coconut flakes will be perfect for this combo. The quick oats are sweetened naturally with organic honey.
I usually like to have sandwich for breakfast. However, oatmeal I love to have it at lunch or late supper. To make it healthy I skipped any sugar and I just used some honey and banana that adds some sweetness. There are some possibilities to “dress up” quick oats. I like it with fresh fruits or dried fruits. Sweetened with sugar/honey/maple or xylitol.
Breakfast is the most important during the day. Sometimes when I’m busy I’m skipping the breakfast but it’s not right thing to do. Many years ago breakfast was the most important dish of the the day for me. But recently the life is becoming so hectic that I don’t have time. I have to get back on the track and Have Breakfast. How about you? Are you able to eat breakfast right away in the morning? Or are you skipping?

I love banana coconut oatmeal – it’s a favorite during the colder months for me! I’m one of those people who always eat breakfast, I just can’t function right without it. Well, most of my recipes on my blog center around breakfast, so that’s probably a given 😉

It;s one of the best breakfasts:)
I always think that oatmeal sounds so much better than porridge – when it is exactly the same thing. Lovely added flavours.
Thank you!
this is right up my alley — love bananas and coconut, but oatmeal is also one of my (secret) favorite breakfasts. It reminds me of my childhood.
Yummm I love oats! My favorite is cranberry.. And normally I do it in the slow cooker overnight with steel cut oats. This looks fast enough that I might do it in the morning though!!
I need to make my oats in slow cooker. I’ve never tried that way. Thanks Sarah!
