- You don’t have to dice sweet potato, just cut into few pieces or slice thickly before boiling in the water.
- If potatoes are not salty enough, add more, it is based on your preferences, you can also add salted butter if you want.
- If you don’t have parmesan cheese you can use different cheese, for example: parmigiano reggiano, gruyere cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese or any other that you like or have at home. Any cheese will add extra flavor to potato.

Ingredients
- 2 sweet potatoes
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese shredded
Instructions
- Peel sweet potatoes and slice thickly. Place into pot with water, sweet potatoes need to be immersed into water completely.
- Cook on low-medium heat for approximately 20-25 minutes until soft.
- Drain sweet potatoes, mash with potato masher.
- Add butter and salt, mix in.
- Top with shredded parmesan cheese.
