Wedges Tips

  • You can use any other dried herb if you don’t have dried basil, you can use parsley, dill, oregano etc.
  • I add oil for extra softness, any kind of oil is good, I like using avocado oil or grapeseed oil.
  • First, you can add melted butter and oil, mix in, so the potatoes with coat nicely with the fat, after that season with garlic powder, dried herb and salt.
  • Add some parmesan cheese for extra flavor if you wish, this is optional.

Potato Faq’s

How do you cut sweet potato wedges? Cut yam in half, then slice through potato, you might have 6-8 wedges from each potato, it depends on the size. The other important tip is to use sharp knife since they are harder to cut.

Why are my sweet potato wedges soggy? Probably they are not really spread nicely on the baking sheet, they should have some air between them for circulation, so spread them around, also maybe they were baked too long.

What’s good to eat with sweet potato fries? You can eat them with hummus or dressings, they will also taste great with sour cream based dips.
